My god, that’s the Switch’s music!

[Extremely The Rock voice] “Finally, a WWE video game has come back to a Nintendo platform!” It’s been an extended absence. Not since WWE ’13 on the Wii has a licensed WWE title graced a Nintendo console. That changes with this year’s game.

The Architect, The Kingslayer, The Man, Mr. Money in the Bank himself, Seth Rollins announced the news that WWE 2K18 is being developer for the Switch in the Twitter video that’s embedded below:

The verbiage that Rollins uses might indicate a more long-term partnership between WWE and Nintendo. “We heard you. We listened and we delivered. Finally WWE video games are back on Nintendo platforms, and WWE 2K18 is coming to Nintendo Switch.” This is very cart-in-front-of-the-horse, but don’t be surprised if future installments are also on the Switch.

But for now, it’s just WWE 2K18 on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. As for this year’s features, this game is said to have the largest roster ever of a WWE 2K title. You know who won’t be in the game? Roman Reigns. Because he’ll be in prison for goddamn attempted murder.
