A list of DSiWare that cannot be transfered to your 3DS

Backwards compatibility is cool, but it’s never 100 percent. I think back to that miniature Genesis, the Genesis 3. It can’t play some games. Remember the badass Sega CDX? It wouldn’t play a few titles. And that Sony thing? What’s it called? PSP Go or something. Yeah, it couldn’t play any of the UMD games I own.

Your Nintendo 3DS is backwards compatible with DSiWare, and the firmware update coming next month will let you transfer your games from your old DSi or DSi XL to your 3DS. But hold on! There’s a few that won’t go. Siliconera has the short list, which you’ll find after the jump. For the most part it’s only Domo games, some Sudoku stuff and a few odd ones. Flipnote Studio won’t move over, either.

Looking at this list, I think most of you are safe.
