Hey! A solid update about Guild Wars 2! Finally!
Guild Wars 2 will be hitting up the major conventions this year, with the exception of E3 that is. ArenaNet is skipping the big show as they want to the fans to get a taste of the game rather than just the press folks. So that’s where gamescom and PAX Prime come in.
The first ever public hands-on demo will go on at gamescom, which takes place from August 19-22 in Cologne, Germany. Then the team will be at PAX Prime from September 3-5 in Seattle with playable demos of the RPG.
ArenaNet will also be at San Diego Comic-Con next month where they’ll be promoting their first novel, Ghosts of Ascalon, and chatting with fans in general.
