Roadrunner releasing God of War: Blood & Metal EP

Say what?

Roadrunner Records has teamed up with Sony to release a digital EP called God of War: Blood & Metal. It’s basically just what its sounds like — unreleased songs by metal bands remotely inspired by God of War.

The EP will feature five tracks, with music by Killswitch Engage, Dream Theater, Trivium, Opeth, and Taking Dawn. Those who purchase God of War III Ultimate Collection will get a voucher code to download the tracks, along with the music from the God of War Trilogy soundtrack.

God of War III is out this March, and I really don’t care what extras they throw at me — I’m dying to play it, even if it required Sony Santa Monica sending someone to my house to kick me in the crotch.
