Revoke my gamer’s club membership and kick me out the clubhouse because I have never played a Pokémon game other than Pokémon Snap. This being said, even I can tell from these new images taken from Japanese mag CoroCoro of the upcoming Pokémon Black and Pokémon White that for the first time in a long time the games have gone through a major overhaul visually.
The article appears to be light on details and focuses mainly on the game’s new and improved 3D look. No, that doesn’t mean that you’re going to be playing this on the 3DS, but that there is actually some depth to the overworld and battle screens now. Only took the series over a decade, right?
What do we think? Do the new graphics signal a redesign of some sort for the franchise’s gameplay or is Nintendo just sprucing up the images simply to make the games look prettier?
