At the MI6 Conference yesterday, SCEA VP of Marketing Peter Dille offered a little information on how God of War III has been performing at retail. No doubt pleased with the title’s success, Dille stated that the game had sold more than a million copies in, “just a couple of days.”
No further information on whether his statement referred solely to North American sales numbers or to worldwide figures was given, but that’s pretty impressive regardless. Not that we should be surprised. This is God of War after all, and easily the best the series has ever had to offer. People shocked by this news should be forewarned that the sun may rise tomorrow, just in case.
