Season 1 marks the start of a new journey for Call of Duty players, who have so far been enjoying the content of Black Ops 6. This includes a fresh campaign, multiplayer, and the reintroduced Zombies mode. But things will heat up in Season 1, and there’s plenty in the pipeline.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 game modes

A new season can’t be complete without more game modes, and plenty is coming in Season 1. With the integration of Warzone, you’ll be able to enjoy the vintage modes like Ranked, but there’s something new waiting in multiplayer and zombies as well.

Multiplayer will see the introduction of Ransack, where you’ll have to loot gold bars from marked crates. To win, you’ll have to secure the loot by bringing it back to your team stash and also guard it from your opponents. This will be followed by the launch of the fan-favorite Hide-and-Seek mode. You’ll be playing as either a prop (to hide) or a hunter (to find). Additionally, limited-time modes will be introduced as part of the mid-season refresh.

Zombies fans won’t have to feel hard done by, as the Directed mode is coming to both Liberty Falls and Terminus. In the Directed mode, every match will be capped at 15 rounds, and you’ll have to focus on the objectives.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 maps

New maps are going to be added to both multiplayer and zombies. The introduction of Warzone will have the introduction of Area 99 as the new Resurgence map. With plenty of POIs, Area 99 will be one interesting place to explore for sure. Urzikstan marks a return at launch, and Rebirth Island will continue to be a part of the rotation playlist.

Multiplayer will have a host of new maps. While some of them will be available at launch, others will be added to Black Ops 6 in mid-season.

  • Hideout (Core 6v6, Medium-sized)
  • Heirloom (Strive, 2v2/6v6, Small-sized)
  • Extraction (Core 6v6, Medium-sized)
  • Haclenda (Core 6v6, Medum-sized)

Last but not least, Citadelle des Morts will be added to the Zombies mode, and it appears to be quite different from the existing Liberty Falls and Terminus Island maps.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 loadouts

All modes will have new loadout additions as part of Season 1 content. Multiplayer will have new Perks, Wildcard, and Scorestreak.

  • Shadow
  • Shrapnel Radar

Similarly, Zombies will undergo some big changes as well when it comes to loadout.

Warzone will have its own share of lethals, tacticals, and field upgrades.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 guns

Season 1 will add seven new weapons to the armory.

Season 1 also marks the return of Armory, which will allow you to unlock any weapon you might have missed the first time. This will include all weapons that can be unlocked from Battle Passes and events. This will be great for those who might not be able to complete battle passes during an active season.

The new season will also have fresh attachments being added to the existing weapons, so make sure to be on the lookout for them.

Black Ops 6 Season 1 battle pass

The Season 1 battle pass will have 110 pieces of unlockable content, and if you get BlackCell, you’ll have 20 extra items added to your inventory. Players will be able to unlock the Saug and Krig C from the free version of the pass. Additionally, players will be able to unlock new operator skins as well. Here are the total types of rewards you can access from the battle pass.

  • COD Points
  • Weapon Blueprints (Primary, Secondary, Melee)
  • Weapon Attachments
  • Weapon Reticles
  • Weapon Charms
  • Weapon Decals
  • Weapon Stickers
  • Equipment Skins
  • GobbleGums
  • Operators
  • Operator Skins
  • Finishing Moves
  • Emblems
  • Calling Cards
  • Emotes
  • Sprays
  • Loading Screens
  • Clan Tags (BlackCell only)
  • Consumable 2XP Tokens

The entire pass will be divided into 14 pages of six different items. Two of the items will be available as part of the free pass, while the remaining will require an upgrade. You’ll be able to unlock the items with battle pass tokens, and every page will have an HVT reward to unlock as well.

All things considered, there’s plenty of interesting content coming to Black Ops 6 on November 14, and it could be the start of a really interesting journey as far as the rewards are concerned.
