The long wait is over. Shonen Unleashed is releasing soon after being in development for a long time. This PvP Roblox experience has all of your favorite anime characters, and its complex fighting mechanics will put your skills to the test trying to master them. So, let’s go over everything you need to know while you wait for the Shonen Unleashed release date.

When Does Shonen Unleashed Release?

What Rosters and Characters Will Be Available on Release in SU?

There will be 17 characters in SU on release, along with a total of 9 variations available for specific characters. You will be able to play your favorite characters from anime titles:

  • Dragon Ball — Son Goku (Namek Saga), Vegeta (Android Saga)
  • One Piece — Monkey D. Luffy (Early), Roronoa Zoro (Early)
  • Naruto Roster — Naruto Uzumaki (Early), Sasuke (Early)
  • Bleach — Ichigo Kurosaki, Renji Abarai
  • Jojo’s — Jonathan Joestar, Jotaro Kujo
  • Demon Slayer — Tanjiro Kamado, Inosuke Hashibira
  • My Hero Academia — Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki
  • Jujutsu Kaisen — Yuji Itadori
  • One Punch Man — Saitama
  • Berserk — Guts

What Are Character Paths and Variations in Shonen Unleashed?

You unlock character paths along with the characters in Shonen Unleashed for free. They are a progression system through which you acquire cash and tokens and unlock unique skins, character variations, emotes, and titles. At the maximum level, which is 20, you get a cool mastery aura that lets everyone know that they don’t want to mess with you.

Will Shonen Unleashed Be Available on Console and Mobile at Release?

Yes, you will be able to play SU both on console and mobile, and the control layouts are very intuitive on both of those. To check out all of the controls, visit our Shonen Unleashed controls guide.

Is There Going to Be a Ranked Mode in Shonen Unleashed?

The ranked mode will be available from the start in SU with three modes: solos (1v1), duos (2v2), and trios (3v3). It will have a 1.4x XP multiplier, and by playing, you will be able to earn cash and tokens based on your rank at the end of each month. Also, there is a win-streak system that will let you climb faster if you keep winning.

Will There Be Private Servers for Shonen Unleashed?

Yes, there will be private servers for Shonen Unleashed, and you will be able to purchase a permanent one as a game pass for 500 Robux in-game and in-store on Roblox. Private Servers will have three game modes exclusive to them: Juggernaut, Randomizer, and Stocks. The server admin will be able to change the map and time of day and modify gameplay mechanics.

What Maps Will Be Available in SU on Release?

In Shonen Unleashed, you will be able to fight in 20+ legendary anime locations, such as the World Martial Arts Tournament arena from Dragon Ball, Shell’s Town from One Piece, and the Hueco Mundo dimension from Bleach. All maps will have their OSTs and time-of-day variations, setting the mood for the battle ahead.

What Game Modes Will Be in Shonen Unleashed?

Besides the three PS-exclusive game modes, you can participate in free-for-all matches, team battles, and deathmatch and team deathmatch showdowns.
