The new update has been announced ahead of the Halloween season, and there are plenty of exciting things in store. As part of the new content, players can enjoy fresh challenges in a new twilight realm situated at the boundary between one reality and the next. Let’s find out all the crucial details as revealed by Hello Games ahead of the update.

No Man’s Sky’s Cursed update introduces a new threat

Unlike the traditional threats of extreme environmental hazards, Cursed will have new dangers. As you travel through the lands, you’ll be surrounded by Anomalies. As long as the Anomaly Suppressor of your exosuit is working, you should be fine. As soon as your Suppressor weakens, the Anomalies may turn hostile and work against you.

You’ll also get to brew other concoctions like Elixir of Glass, Quicksilver, Blood, and Water to help you on your adventures. The new expedition will be available for two weeks and will allow you to get plenty of fantastic rewards as well.

Among all the different cosmetic items that you can get, having a gelatinous, luminescent lifeform as your companion is indeed a strange one. Additionally, you can retrieve the Boundary Herald Starship as part of the expedition. Additionally, there’s plenty of new community research available as well for all to explore. The Cursed Expedition update is now live in No Man’s Sky and available for players on all platforms.
