How to get into the Fragpunk playtest

Here's how you can snag a key for the Fragpunk playtest

Fragpunk, a new first-person shooter in the Hero Shooter genre, has an ongoing playtest that you can join. Getting access to it is pretty easy, but if you’re unaware, here’s how you can get your invite.

How to join the Fragpunk beta test

The main way to get into the playtest is to Request Access through the Fragpunk Steam Store page. Using this method, you won’t need a code or get into it. Instead, all you need is some patience and luck. The developers are actively inviting players to the test, so you probably won’t have to wait long to get in (took me about a day). Keep in mind that you are not guaranteed access using this method.

Another method of getting access to the Fragpunk closed beta is by being an Xbox Insider. If you are already a subscriber of this service, you do not need to do anything extra. By being an Xbox Insider, you will automatically have a chance to receive an invite/code.

The third way of getting a code for the Fragpunk test is by, ironically, playing the game. Weirdly enough, you can earn a few codes by playing Ranked, which is certainly an incentive if you’re looking to play with a few friends. Of course, this method assumes you already have access to the playtest, so it may not yet apply to you.

The final way to get into the Fragpunk playtest is to for giveaways. The developers are constantly sharing keys on their Official Discord, so you may be able to snag one this way if you’re lucky.
