But don’t go thinking the move is invincible. For all looking to turn the tables in their favor, here’s how to counter (or block) a Revenge Counter in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.

How to Counter a Revenge Counter in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Similarly to how you can perform beam deflections, you can counter a Revenge Counter in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero by holding the Super Perception input as your opponent performs their counter. You can activate Super Perception in Sparking Zero by pressing O/B (if on Standard) or â–³+O/Y+B (if on Classic). The technique will cost one Skill bar.

Upon performing the counter, your character will also receive temporary buffs and perform a heavy hit, thus guaranteeing you will be able to kickstart your offense or at the very least get a little bit of respite.

When being hit by rush chains of any kind, Super Perception can also be used to trigger a Sonic Sway, which will allow your character to swiftly avoid a barrage of enemy attacks before sending them flying. You can check more about how to consecutively perform the technique in our How to Sonic Sway in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero guide.

How to practice counters in Sparking Zero

If you want to guarantee you will be able to keep your calm and counter any attack coming your way, you can practice against all types of counters in Sparking Zero by heading to Training and Super Training. Among the two, Super Training is the one for those looking to polish their Revenge Counter punishers, as you only need to set your opponent’s settings to Revenge Counters and then give both of you infinite Skill bars to start practicing.
