Timon and Pumbaa join Disney Dreamlight Valley next week

Hakuna Matata comes to Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Lion King‘s Timon and Pumbaa will say “Hakuna Matata” to Ursula, Mickey, and Jack Skellington when they join Disney Dreamlight Valley next week. A few improvements have been implemented into the user experience as well as part of a new update.

There are no worries as Timon and Pumbaa become guests

On October 9, Disney Dreamlight Valley players will return to the Lion King realm to recruit Timon and Pumbaa to their village. During this visit, however, we’ll experience both the day and the nighttime in the jungle. As you may expect (if you’ve watched the original movie), the duo will be teaching us how to relax as we set up a camp, power nap, stargaze, and learn how to deal with stress.

There will be new story quests and friendship rewards with Timon and Mr. Pig. One of the friendship quests has us helping Pumbaa embrace a new, unexpected hobby: pottery. You’ll likely need to make bug-related dishes for Timon and Pumbaa rather than a Souffle, but that’s just a hunch.

A new Star Path

Gameloft has confirmed a new Star Path coincides with the October 9 update called the Night Show. It includes rockstar-themed clothes for your character. It also comes with neon lights, pyrotechnics, and even a stage for you to build inside your valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley x Loungefly

Disney Dreamlight Valley will feature some popular Loungefly designs you can pick up in real life. Some of them include Maleficent’s dragon form and Mickey’s sorcerer look. Maleficent’s bag even glows in the dark.

A few quality-of-life updates will arrive on October 9. Furniture will begin to appear at Scrooge’s store instead of empty clothing displays. There will also be a new cursor option while moving furniture and other items in the world, which locks the cursor to the middle. Recipes can also be added to the quest tracker, which will definitely help.
