The RTTK cards (Road to the Knockouts) will be available in EA FC 25 starting September 27, and once again, all items will be available for future upgrades.
The RTTK promo has been a popular season opener for the last few years, and it will continue to do the same once again this year. The upcoming promo is likely going to be a two-week affair, and EA Sports has officially announced the new upgrade path. Several cards will have the chance to improve dramatically over the next few months as the European club competitions advance towards the knockouts.
EA FC 25 RTTK Upgrade path explained
The RTTK promo will have unique cards from four different tournaments.
- UEFA Champions League
- UEFA Europa League
- UEFA Conference League
- UEFA Women’s Champions League
Cards from all four tournaments will have the following upgrade path:
- Win 3 league matches: +1 OVR
- Score 1+ goals in 4 different matches: +1 OVR and Role++
- Finish Top 2 in the League: +1 PS+ and +1 Role++
If Role++ continue to have a big impact on the meta as it currently has, any RTTK player getting all three upgrades could become a long-term asset in your squad. Of course, not every card will get maximum upgrades. Picking items with better chances of upgrades could land you a considerable amount of coins in the future, as their prices will shoot up.
