NBA 2K25‘s early access is almost upon us, and publishers 2K has already confirmed the release time.
The early access is an excellent reward for those who decided to pre-order the upcoming title. This offer is still available on all editions – Standard, All-Star, and Hall of Fame. The extra hours are ideal, especially for those who will grind heavily in MyPlayer and MyTeam modes. Let’s take a look at when you can start your journey (based on where you’re located).
When will NBA 2K25 early access begin?
As announced earlier by 2K, the early access begins on September 4. Here are the official timings disclosed by the publisher ahead of the tip-off.
- 5 a.m. PT
- 8 a.m. ET
- 1 p.m. UK
- 10 p.m. AUS
- 9 p.m. JST
- 8 p.m. HK
If you’re situated in any region outside the ones mentioned here, just calculate the difference in the time zones. 2K is going for a simultaneous launch; in simpler words, all players will start playing at the same time. This schedule might be followed for the full launch as well, which is scheduled to take place on September 6.
Will NBA 2K25 early access progress carry over?
The early access tip-off is a continuation of the full game. It’s not a trial and only available to those who choose to pre-order. As a result, any in-game progression will carry over to the full launch. Any cards players unlock in modes like MyTeam will be available, and the same applies to the other game modes.
That said, it’s safe to assume that there could be server issues during early access. This is based on similar incidents that took place with recent launches like College Football 25. Hopefully, buyers who pre-ordered will manage to get satisfactory results in early tip-off.
