How to complete Ascension Act 4 Story Mission in MW3 Zombies

Modern Warfare 3 Zombies’ epic conclusion kicks off in Season 5 Reloaded. As you may expect, it’ll be relatively tricky to handle with the increasing brutality of the zombies and a formidable boss. So, to better prepare you for the fight, we’ll show you how to complete the Ascension Act 4 Story Mission in MW3 Zombies.

MW3 Zombies Ascension Story Mission guide

Before you begin the Ascension Story Mission in MW3 Zombies, you should start preparing with Pack-A-Punch weapons and Perk-A-Colas. The zombies inside the new rift will be at a Tier 2 threat level, so you don’t need to PAP your weapon to Level 3. However, the gun should at least have a Rare or Epic rarity equipped to it.

It’s possible to do this mission solo, but if you find yourself overwhelmed, try to go in with a team. Then, travel to the High Threat Level zone to locate the marker for the Ascension Story Mission.

Find a way to weaken the entity and cleanse the relics

For the first task, travel to the area with the yellow glowing beam. Use the illuminated crystal points to fly to higher places. If you don’t see any nearby, shoot the red crystals to trigger their appearance.

Once you’ve arrived at the beam, collect the four relics around it; these will be the same Easter Egg items you may have obtained prior. Keep looking around the area with a circular yellow radius on the map. The Relic’s locations may vary, but I suggest looking around the trains first.

Use the four Relics to activate the cleanse shortly after. Now, start killing the zombies surrounding Dr. Jansen and wait for her to charge up. You’ll do this process twice, so repeat these steps to complete this part of the quest. Those who find themselves lost can look out for the markers on the map to pinpoint the next destination.

Ascend the Tower to reach the Entity

To confront the Entity in MW3 Zombies Ascension Story Mission, use the glowing crystals and floating vehicles to reach the highest point. It might get confusing here, as it was for me, but try to see which way the cars go first and then jump on top of it. The key here is to follow the yellow star markers on the map, and eventually, Dr. Jansen should tell you that you’re going the right way.

MW3 Zombies Ascension Entity boss fight

The Ascension Entity boss battle presents two stages for you to tackle. The first one will be relatively easy to get through as you hit the glowing weak points of the enemy. Use the crystals to get closer to the Entity and steer clear of the other zombies roaming around. You should also watch out for the boss’ attacks, including a damaging beam of light and a ground strike (a red target appears).

After the Reward Rift appears, it’s time for phase two. This time, the Entity utilizes an invulnerable state where she’ll be completely untouchable. Find Dr. Jansen with the star symbol and keep close to her. Start killing the zombies around her while she charges up. When Dr. Jansen’s ready, attack the Entity’s glowing weak spots. You’ll have to repeat this technique a few times until the foe finally comes crashing down.

Claim your items in the Reward Rift and exit the area to complete the Ascension Act 4 Story Mission in Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. You’ll also gain The Entity Charm and +10,000 XP as a bonus.
