What platforms is Black Myth: Wukong on?

These are all the consoles you can pick up Black Myth: Wukong for on its initial release date, August 20, 2024:

• PlayStation 5
• Windows PC

Preorder and deluxe editions are available for both platforms, so be sure to check out which version of the game you’d like to get your hands on. Currently, these are the only platforms on which the game will be released upon launch. 

An Xbox Series X/S version of the game will be released in the future, but not on August 20 like the PS5 and PC versions. 

Is Black Myth: Wukong coming to Xbox?

Yes, Black Myth: Wukong will be coming to the latest generation of Xbox consoles. This has been confirmed by Game Science and Microsoft. However, the official date and time of this release is still unknown. For now, Xbox fans will have to be patient or purchase the game on another console.

Wukong was originally going to be released on all platforms simultaneously, however, the game has been delayed to release on Xbox consoles due to optimization. The delay is not expected to last long, but for now fans will have to be patient for more news.

Is Black Myth: Wukong on last generation consoles?

No, sadly there you cannot get Black Myth: Wukong on any last generation consoles. This includes PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is beautifully rendered and has an expansive combat system, so it’s likely that it wasn’t developed to be played on older hardware.
