How to get a free Prime Hero in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team

Can't beat free

EA Sports has revealed the official list of Prime Heroes in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, and there’s an excellent opportunity for everyone to get one of these cards without paying a cent extra.

When I say free, I mean it in the sense that you won’t need to spend anything above the game’s retail price (as it’s not free-to-play). This opportunity is only available for a limited period, and this year’s offering is even better than usual. Unlike Heroes in EA FC 24, an upgrade system will be implemented on the base version. These base versions will be upgraded to a Prime version in the future.

The free Prime Hero is part of a limited-time EA FC 25 offer

You can pre-order EA FC 25, and it is available in two editions – Standard and Ultimate. The latter is more expensive but offers a lot of extra freebies. If you purchase an Ultimate Edition of the game on or before August 20, 2024, you’ll be automatically entitled to an Origin Hero in Ultimate Team.

This Origin Hero is likely to be released on September 27 (when the full launch takes place). This version will be automatically upgraded to a Prime Hero on November 28, 2024. While you don’t get two different Heroes, it’s much better than what was available last year. This free upgrade will help you to use your free Hero in competitive modes for at least a few more weeks.

You can also find more Heroes in Ultimate Team, as they will be available in different packs. Of course, you’ll need to spend FC Points or Ultimate Team coins to get those packs (apart from grinding them from different objectives).
