Fortnite’s item shop will be hosting other characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean series, with the likes of Captain Barbossa, Davy Jones, a cute Little Kraken, and Elizabeth Swann all set to be added.

While all of these are confirmed skins, there is a lot more expected to arrive with this event. Popular leaker HypeX claims that the event pass will also offer a dead Captain Jack Sparrow version among other Pirates of the Caribbean rewards, as seen in the leaked image. A new Pirates of the Caribbean POI will also be added to the map for this event.

Leaks also reveal (via HypeX) that a new mythic item called ‘Ship in a Bottle’ will be coming, which instantly summons a ship that can deal 50 damage to players, 5,000 damage to builds, and 150 damage to Vehicles. Once summoned, the ship stays for one minute, and it is said that the ship can deal the aforementioned damage with every hit.

Epic Games has also released details on a new patch to further fine-tune Fortnite Reload. The loot pool for Fortnite Reload has been updated, with Lever Action Shot, Tactical Submachine Gun, and Hand Cannon, all heading to the vault. To replace them, Epic Games is adding in the Pump Shotgun, Twin Mag SMG, and the Mammoth Pistol.

Nitro Fists are still available in Ranked after Epic Games said 12 days ago that it is removed

Fortnite fans can look forward to the event which starts in a couple of days, but there’s been an even longer wait for Epic Games to roll out a fix for a persistent issue in Ranked. Epic Games announced on June 4, 2024, that Nitro Fists, alongside vehicles, have been removed from Ranked and Zero Build Mode.

While vehicles were removed, the Nitro Fists were somehow still obtainable in Ranked. Fortnite Status acknowledged the issue on June 5, saying that the team is working on ways to resolve this issue. It has been 12 days since, and Nitro Fists are still in Fortnite. Alongside the patch notes for Fortnite Reload, Epic Games has now given an update, saying that a fix for Nitro Fists still in Ranked is being worked on. It remains to be seen when Nitro Fists will finally be removed from Ranked.
