As expected of the Magistrate of Jinzhou, Jinhsi is by far the best Spectro DPS in Wuthering Waves, a title she earned given her ability to deal massive damage by performing her Resonance Liberation and Resonance Skill variants while in her Incarnation and Ordination Glow states.
But although capable of wielding a sentinel’s power, she will still need a specific build if you want to potentialize her already high damage. Here’s the best Jinhsi build in Wuthering Waves and a few teammates sure to allow her to perform at her best.
The best weapons for Jinhsi
Like with most featured 5-star resonators, the best weapon for Jinhsi in Wuthering Waves is her signature Ages of Harvest. Handmade for her, the weapon will offer a 12% increase in Spectro DMG Bonus and a 24.3% increase in Crit Rate —the latter once at level 90. Ages of Harvest will also allow Jinhsi to trigger its Ageless Marking and Ethereal Endowment effects after performing her Intro and Resonance Skill respectively. Both effects will give her a 24% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus and last 12 seconds. All of the values here are related to the weapon at Rank 1.
If you plan on skipping on her weapon to save resources for Changli, Jiyan‘s Verdant Summit will be my main pick. When equipped, the weapon will provide Jinhsi with a 12% boost in Spectro DMG and increase her Heavy Attack DMG Bonus by 24% after she performs both her Intro Skill and Liberation. The weapon will also offer a total of 48.6% Crit DMG while at level 90.

Best 4-star weapons
The best 4-star weapon for Jinhsi is the Battle Pass exclusive Autumntrace, as the broadblade will offer a similar amount of Crit Rate when compared to our top two 5-star picks. The 4-star also fits her playstyle nicely by allowing her to get an up to 20% ATK boost after performing basic and heavy attacks. If you don’t plan on getting the Battle Pass, my main pick will be the Helios Cleaver.

The best Sonata and echoes for Jinhsi
The best Sonata for Jinhsi is a 5-echo Celestial Light. The Sonata will offer her a permanent 10% boost in Spectro DMG. Jinhsi will also be able to increase the boost by 30% for 15 seconds after performing her Resonance Skill.
True to the game’s lore, Jué is by far the best main echo for Jinhsi. The reason for that lies in its ability to boost her overall Resonance Skill DMG by 16% and deal 16% Spectro DMG per second to all targets hit by it for a total of 15 seconds. As the echo’s off-the-field attacks will deal Resonance Skill DMG, they can be buffed by passives. If you still have not acquired Jué, the Mourning Aix will be my main pick. For the remaining echoes, go with two elites and two common ones for a 4-3-3-1-1 composition.
Best stats and substats
As seen above, I recommend that you go with Crit Rate for our main echo (only go with Crit DMG if you managed to reach at least 60% Rate without it). For the remaining picks, go with pairs of Spectro DMG Bonus and ATK. Substat-wise, prioritize the below in that exact order.

Best teams for Jinhsi
As her set’s foundation and main damage source lie in her Resonance Skills, the best team for Jinhsi will have her as its main DPS, Verina as its healer, and either Taoqi or Yinlin as its support.
Although Taoqi will not provide the team with off-the-field damage, her massive 38% Resonance Skill DMG Deepen Outro Skill buff will allow you to take Jinhsi’s damage to the sky. Yinlin, on the other hand, will boost Jinhsi’s Liberation while also adding a substantial amount of off-the-field DMG to the mix and providing a good amount of Incandescence stacks. Lastly, Verina will be able to constantly buff and heal the party while also increasing its already high energy-gathering output. If you don’t have her, Baizhi will be my main pick for the healer spot.
For those looking to go for a more offensive approach, using a Resonance Chain 4 Spectro Rover as a healer can also work, as they will be able to heal for great amounts by performing their Resonance Liberation.
