Disney Lorcana is taking the Trading Card Game (TCG) scene by storm with its timeless art and accessible gameplay elements. It has quickly grown into a trending game that has attracted collectors, competitors, and even non-TCG players. While it’s yet to be seen if Disney’s TCG can topple the Big Three (Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon, and Magic: The Gathering), Lorcana has already become known as one of the best games to introduce people to the genre.

Ravensburger, Lorcana’s publisher, announced a transition to a global release for their sets starting with the yet-to-be-named Set Five. This is fantastic news for players in Australia and New Zealand who have had delayed release dates for the first four Lorcana sets.

We’ve prepared a list of every Lorcana set in reverse order, meaning the latest releases are the first in the list. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming sets along with every Disney Lorcana set ever released.

Upcoming Disney Lorcana sets

Ravensburger is on track to fulfill its promise of releasing four sets every year. In 2024 we have Set 5 and Set 6 still to come, but we’ve already gotten their release dates. When Ravensburger announces their official names or any changes to the release schedule, we will update this guide accordingly.

Every Disney Lorcana set ever released

Released: May 17, 2024 (LGS) | May 31, 2024 (Retail)

• Introduced the first co-op game format with the “Illumineer’s Quest” box.
• Bruno and the rest of the Madrigal family from Encanto are featured in this set.

Released: February 23, 2024 (LGS) | March 8, 2024 (Retail)

• Introduced Location cards to the game.
  • These are iconic Disney locations such as Maui’s Place of Exile from Moana.
• Atlantis: The Lost Empire and its characters are featured in this set.
• The first Legendary Item card, Lucky Dime, was added.

Released: November 17, 2023 (LGS) | December 1, 2023 (Retail)

• Added the Resist keyword to Lorcana.
  • Reduces the damage dealt to a character with this keyword. For example, Resist 2 would reduce 2 damage.
• Introduced the Floodborn character type which are reimagined versions of classic Disney characters.
  • Floodborn characters bring flexibility to Lorcana by adding variations to familiar personalities. Some examples are: Floodborn Gaston being a Genius Inventor, or Floodborn Belle becoming a skilled hunter.

Released: August 18, 2023 (LGS) | September 1, 2023 (Retail)

• Established the Disney Lorcana TCG with classic characters and scenes.
• Though there has been some power creep with future releases, this set still has some competitive staples such as A Whole New World or Fishbone Quill.
• The most expensive card in Lorcana comes from this set. (Elsa – The Spirit of Winter)
