Do you remember when Microsoft revealed a South Park XBLA game? Cast your mind back to E3 2008. Yep, well over a year ago, Eric Cartman was screaming something during the Microsoft press conference and then … nothing. Nobody said anything, everybody forgot about it. Despite this, it’s still coming, and it’ll be shown at Comic Con.
Halo 3: ODST, Alan Wake, The Beatles: Rock Band, Left 4 Dead 2, Shadow Complex and Gears of War 2: Dark Corners are also expected to be in attendance, along with a brand new trailer for Splinter Cell: Conviction. Should be quite a hot little lineup.
It’ll be interesting to see what form this South Park game will take. The long period spent underground hints that the title will be more than a simple update to the old N64 shooter. Mind you, does anyone still care about it?
