In Fortnite, Cerberus’ Snapshot can easily stump you early on, especially once you reach its third stage and go on a brief scavenger hunt for artifacts. While there are only three locations to find, the only hints you get are riddles with no map markers. Here’s how to complete stage three of Cerberus’ Snapshot.
All Cerberus’ Snapchat Stage 3 quest locations in Fortnite
During the third stage of Cerberus’ Snapshot, you’ll find three objectives, each with a mysterious riddle:
- Maybe on a grassy island in the center of everything?
- I left it near the snow, where people bury yummy bones too…
- Did I leave it under the windmill with a view of the Styx?
Although you’ll have to travel to various spots around the Fortnite map, you can travel to all three in one match if you can avoid enemy players and arrive at each spot quickly. Once you reach a place, dig up its dirt spot to find its hidden “treasures” and complete stage three of Cerberus’ Snapshot.
Under the windmill with a view of the Styx
For the Windmill with a view of the Styx objective, your destination is the windmill directly northeast of Grim Gate. On your map, you’ll spot the mill and another small building under the railroad track.
Once you arrive here, you’ll find the dirt spot near a large boulder in front of the windmill. Dig it up to find a peculiar item, one of Cerberus’ dog toys, and complete the first Snapshot task.
On a grassy island in the center of everything
Your final destination for the grassy island objective is the southern center island near Restored Reels and Fencing Fields. However, rather than going to the island with the Earthbending shrine, your goal is to go south of here to the smaller island, where you’ll find the dirt spot in the grass.
Digging this spot will reveal another of Cerberus’ dog toys, progressing the Snapshot quest once more.
Near the snow, where people bury yummy bones
Lastly, you’ll want to go north toward Classy Courts to find the snowy area where people bury bones. Rather than touching the snow, you’ll stop just east of the railroad, at the small building south of Classy Courts and the main road.
Upon arriving here, you’ll find the dirt pile just south of the building near a tree. Dig this spot to find yet another dog toy, completing stage three of Cerberus’ Snapshot quest in Fortnite.
