You can find tactical assault rifles as floor and chest loot anywhere on the Fortnite map. While your best bet is to visit named locations, weapon cases or bunkers, you can also find this weapon on the floor randomly or at a smaller, unmarked point of interest. Check every chest you encounter, especially rare ones such as Underworld chests, for the best odds of finding a high-grade gun that’ll inflict serious damage.
Alternatively, you can try your luck with eliminating other players. While you’re not guaranteed to find a tactical AR with the first person you defeat, you’ll likely pick one up if you eliminate multiple people and gain the upper hand. In some cases, you may also stumble upon an area where a fight took place earlier in the round, allowing you to check the loot pile for the gun. How to buy a Tactical Assault Rifle in Fortnite
If you’re willing to spend a bit of gold to get a tactical AR, your next destination is northeast of Mount Olympus. At an unnamed location northeast of Mount Olympus, you’ll find the NPC Apollo, who’ll sell you an epic-grade tactical assault rifle for 300 gold. Upon buying it, it will appear in your inventory immediately, allowing you to use it throughout the rest of the round.
Once you get your hands on a tactical assault rifle in Fortnite, you can use it for just about anything. You can keep it with you and eliminate other players, try to pull off a fun airborne trickshot for other quests or ditch it after a few minutes in favor of another weapon. It’s entirely up to you, but at the very least, you now know what to look out for during your matches.
