If you’re playing Warzone‘s smaller maps, like Rebirth Island or Ashika Island, you’ll want an SMG that can tear up your opponents at close range. That’s why we’ve put together the best Warzone HRM-9 loadout, with the attachments you need to get wins.
With the return of Rebirth Island as part of the season three update, the close-range meta has really come under the spotlight. At the moment, the overpowered Renetti Conversion Kit is dominating that conversation, but with a nerf on the horizon, some are already thinking about what could replace it.
That’s where the HRM-9 SMG comes into play. According to WZStats.gg, 8.1% of Warzone players already use it, and that number could go up once that nerf comes in. That’s why we’ve put together the best loadout, including attachments, perks, and equipment to get you ready for that time.
Best Warzone HRM-9 build: Attachments
- Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
- Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop
- Ammunition: 9mm High Grain Rounds
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Stock: Folding Stock
The XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop Underbarrel and ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider Muzzle are both there to help with recoil, as the gun does have a little bit of a kick without them. The Folding Stock can also help with that, while also improving your movement speed, so you can zoom around Rebirth Island and get up-close-and-personal with your opponents.
The 50 Round Drum will make sure you can get into multiple gunfights without reloading, while the 9mm High Grain Rounds gave your HRM-9 a little extra punch when you slam them into an enemy.
Best Warzone HRM-9 class: Perks and equipment
- Perks:
- Perk One: Double Time
- Perk Two: E.O.D.
- Perk Three: Tempered
- Perk Four: High Alert
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
This class is all about getting around the map as quickly as possible, so that’s why we’ve focused on Double Time, which increases your tactical sprint duration, and reduces how long it takes to refresh too. After that, we’ve stuck with two of our must-haves: E.O.D. and Tempered. E.O.D. reduces the amount of explosive damage you take, which is huge if you’re running into big battles, while Tempered gives you full shields with just two plates instead of three.
Finally, if you’re moving around, High Alert can be super useful, as it alerts you when an enemy player is looking at you. Your Lethal and Tactical will be personal preference, but I love the Semtex and run it almost exclusively, while a Smoke Grenade is always a useful trick to have up your sleeve if you find yourself in trouble.
Who is this Warzone HRM-9 class for?
This Warzone HRM-9 class is for run-and-gunners, designed to get into the face of your opponents. This is best for those who don’t like hanging back, and is very strong in close-quarters combat, especially in buildings.
