How to find the Golden Joja Parrot in Stardew Valley

How badly do you want to find these Walnuts?

The Golden Joja Parrot in Stardew Valley

There’s a lot of hidden things to find in Stardew Valley and once you’ve unlocked Ginger Island, you’ll need to find one kind of hidden object to open up the map — Golden Walnuts. These Walnuts aren’t easy to find, but if you’re missing any, there’s hope in the shape of a Golden Parrot.

Ginger Island is a big map, and you need to find 130 Golden Walnuts to unlock new areas and features or purchase rewards. These Walnuts can be found by utilizing every skill, so if you avoid a certain activity, you might end up missing some.

However, with the 1.6 update, ConcernedApe has thrown us a lifeline. Admittedly, it’s a pretty expensive lifeline, but as someone who avoids fishing in most situations, I’ll take any lifeline I can get.

Previously, you could head to Leo’s hut and speak to a Parrot there who would provide riddles and clues as to where you could find remaining Walnuts. Now, in addition to this Parrot there is another Parrot, who apparently works for the Joja Corporation, who will take your money from you in order to find all remaining Golden Walnuts.

The Golden Joja Parrot can be found on the cliffs on the Northern edge of Ginger Island. The cost for this Parrots services are pretty steep, as you’ve likely come to expect from anything even remotely Joja related – 10,000 Gold per remaining nut.

That means that if you’ve found 30 nuts and want to take this shortcut, you’ll need to pay 1,000,000 Gold to find the remaining ones. This is an unlikely scenario, because this service is likely to only be used when you’re missing a few particularly hard to find Walnuts.

Once you’ve paid the money-grabbing bird, you’ll wake up the following morning the proud owner of all the Golden Walnuts.
