While exploring the world and attempting to restore nature in Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, players will be tasked with finding all of the pages of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece. It’s a tall order, but one that’s essential for completing the story. There are also optional pages to gather for additional XP, making this one of those tasks that you want to finish quickly but don’t want to miss out on the benefits from.

All Moominpapa’s Masterpiece Pages locations in Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley
Below, I’ve listed the location of every page of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece as I came across it while playing and exploring in Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. You may have encountered some in a different order, which is fine. This is just the order I found them in, and while it’s fairly linear and follows the natural flow of the game’s progression, it’s also not the only way you’ll find these pages.
Moominpapa’s Masterpiece Page
Map reference
Page 1 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece came just after helping Ghost. It’s along one of the many paths that veers away from the main objectives.
Page 2 Of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is hiding in some tall grass along the same windy path as Page 1. It’s very easy to miss.
Page 3 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is located close to Snork. You’ll need to play your harmonica to the fish to get it to float down the river so you can grab it.
Page 4 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is down on the beach where you find Sniff.
Page 5 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is outside of the cave where you journey with Sniff. It’s between that cave and the beach where you’ll eventually make a raft.
Page 6 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is hidden off the beaten track on the island with the pirate ship. Explore every ladder to stay on top of this one.
Page 7 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is found during the gameplay section with Little My. This is when you’ll be finding creatures to help you push a giant boulder out of the way forward. The page is down near the water, out of the way.
Page 8 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is inside the cave you’ll explore with Little My. It’s easy to miss, though. After you see it in the background, as in the image above, remember to explore every new area of the cave you enter. The page is off to the left, so explore left turns first while inside the cave.
There’s no map icon for this cave, but the linear story will take you inside, so you can’t miss it.
Page 9 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is on the beach with Horse. This is where you end up with Little My after the cave section and claiming the pirate sail. You’ll need to explore a little further out of the way, close to where you landed on the island.
Page 10 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is a reward from Snorkmaiden for finding an item for her. This is a late-game quest that you’ll need to complete by exploring Moominvalley.
Page 11 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is located at the old theatre. You can find this before Moominpapa begins to plan the play and asks for his pages, or you can wait until that point in the story, which is pretty soon after, to get it.
Page 12 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is found after inviting everyone to the play. Little My can be pulled out of a well as you return to Moominpapa, and if you’ve found her toy, you can return it to her for a page.
Page 13 of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece is found on a cliff close to Snorkmaiden’s treehouse.
Do you need all of the pages of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece in Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley?
No, you don’t need to collect all of the pages of Moominpapa’s Masterpiece in Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley. When these pages are necessary for advancing the story, Moominpapa will say you have enough if you’ve collected a specific number of them. I don’t know what that number is because I’d already collected most of them by the time they were required.
However, based on the pages listed above, I’d say you need to collect 11 to ensure you have enough for the performance. For some reason (most likely to allow players to progress without needing to backtrack too much) this isn’t like the cooking pot, where you must find every ingredient or nothing happens.
