Hands-on with Pokemon Scramble and the death of a friendship

Recommended Videos

Pokemon Scramble is a 4-player RTS/beat ’em up that just hit Japanese WiiWare. Though many are sure to hate it because 1) it’s a Pokemon game and 2) it’s got low-poly character models in the style of Pokemon Ranch, I for one am pretty psyched for the game. I think I’m just a sucker for deformed pokemon.

The stylish men of WiiFolder.com have started pumping out a series of videos focused on Pokemon Scramble, and honestly, the game isn’t that fun to watch. The real draw to the vid posted after the jump is watching the two guys playing the game slowly start to hate each other. There is a turning point at 5:50 when an awkward half-joke brings so much tension to the room that you half expect tears to start flowing

Can’t wait for this one to come to the states so I can start making my friends cry, too.
