How to complete the Fortune’s Keep throne room Easter egg in Call of Duty Warzone

An Easter egg fit for a king.

The Vanguard-era Resurgence map, Fortune’s Keep, made its return with Warzone’s season two launch on February 7. In addition to a new explosion putting a crater in the ground and a few new elevators and tunnels, Fortune’s Keep also has a new Easter egg for players to discover. You’ll need to make your way into the throne room inside the Keep (big castle) point of interest.

Once inside the Keep POI, head to the throne room. You’ll know you’re in it because there’s a big red chair, stained glass, torches, and the other makings of a proper throne room.

  1. Light the two torches located on either side of the throne. This can be done by just getting close to them and pressing your action button.
  2. Hop into the seat of the throne, which will trigger a new staircase to open up. This will lead you down to the vault, or puzzle, room.
  3. Once inside the vault, head to the back of the room where there’s a circular door. It almost looks like the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets, but don’t worry, you won’t need to speak to snakes to open it.
  4. Locate the three holes above the door. Retrieve the Molotovs or thermite grenades around the room and use them to light the holes on fire.
  5. This will cause the lights on the door to illuminate in a specific order. The order changes every match, it seems, so pay attention and remember.
  6. The order of the lights corresponds with the torch locations around the room. Light them in the correct order, as you did with the throne torches, and the vault door will open.

What’s inside Fortune’s Keep throne room vault?

Once you’ve completed the throne room vault puzzle, you’ll enter the vault itself. It holds plenty of loot including orange loot boxes, killstreaks, and well-equipped guns. However, there’s a better reason to complete the Easter egg at least once.

Completing the throne room vault puzzle also gets you a permanent reward, the Genus Firmamentum large weapon decal. Although it’s not quite as exciting as a unique blueprint or other cool unlocks found in previous Easter egg locations, it’s something.
