Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a fast-paced action RPG with tons of characters and massive epic battles. With tons of characters each with their own weapons and skills, it may seem like the perfect ARPG to play with friends. But is Granblue Fantasy: Relink multiplayer? Let’s take a look!
Does Granblue Fantasy: Relink have multiplayer?
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is in fact multiplayer. Players have the option of going solo with AI teammates or as a party with a group of friends of up to four players in total. Not only is there multiplayer in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but the fantasy ARPG is also crossplay between PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. This means that players on PC will only be able to play with other PC players, but honestly, that’s not a huge issue with how the AI works.
On Steam, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is even listed as having an online Co-op mode. However, there is no sort of PvP in Granblue Fantasy: Relink. If you’re looking for a game to play against friends, this is not what you want. However, if you want to group up with friends and work together to defeat bosses, the Granblue Fantasy: Relink multiplayer might be just what you’re looking for.
Can you play Granblue Fantasy: Relink solo?
If you don’t have friends readily available to play multiplayer with, you do still have options. Granblue Fantasy: Relink can be played solo, and the game will replace what would be other players with AI-controlled versions of the playable characters. You can even toggle a Full Assist mode that will cause all actions to be performed automatically when in battle. So even if it’s just you, you will be able to progress through the game alone. You are also able to switch between the two modes at any time, provided you have unlocked multiplayer.
