How to beat the Giant Crab in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

In a pinch.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is like a certain infamous PS3 game called Genji: Days of the Blade — right down to some of its shared enemies. There’s even a giant enemy crab to take down; here’s how to do that.

Giant Crab in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown tips

At first, the Giant Crab in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown seems impossible. It isn’t easy to wall jump over the boss and strike it from behind. However, it is easier once you unlock the rewind time power called the Shadow of the Simurgh.

The biggest annoyance is the huge claw shield the crab has. It will charge towards you. To counteract it, utilize the Shadow of the Simurgh ability. You’ll see an apparition of the protagonist’s body on the screen. Make the crab charge or move forwards far enough, so you can warp directly behind it.

You’ll then get a few seconds to get your hits in before it swipes you away. This would be a good time to use an aggressive Athra Surge like Verethragna’s Smite or Wind of Sistan. Make sure it doesn’t grab you with its claw, however. The big crustation deals quite a bit of damage.

To get further damage in a combo, use the Blade Dancer amulet. It gives you an extra attack during Sargon’s combo, and it can be improved further at Kaheva’s forge in The Haven. You can also improve your dual-handed weapon there.

When some bubbles are released into the air, try to neutralize them with your bow and arrow. You might want to upgrade the number of arrows you have as well through Kaheva as well before attempting this fight.

At The Haven, you should find the opportunity to add more health through certain amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
