What time does Diablo 4 Season 3 start?

The start time for Diablo 4 Season 3 is 10 am PST on January 23. Like previous Diablo 4 seasons, this is a global release meaning the Season of the Construct servers will go live in all regions and on all platforms at the same time. Also on all platforms, the game is already updated to the new build minus a small update on launch day, so you can go ahead and preload the update. For further reference, here’s the release time in several timezones:

  • 10am PST
  • 1pm EST
  • 6pm GMT
  • 7pm CET
  • 3am JST

Once again, despite the different times in each time zone, it is a global release meaning the servers will unlock at the same time regardless of your location.

What happens to Diablo 4 seasonal characters when the new season releases?

Even though you have to create a new character with each season, your old character isn’t lost forever. All Season of Blood, or Season 2 characters will automatically be transferred to the Eternal Realm when the new season starts on January 23. Just make sure you have Stash Space available on the Eternal Realm for moving over any good gear from the seasonal realm. You will have until Season 3 ends and Season 4 begins on April 26 to make sure all the items you want transferred over to the Eternal Realm have been.

The same process will take place when Season 4 launches, and presumably all future seasons as well.
