With every Final Fantasy XIV expansion comes new Tribal quests, and Endwalker is no different. Patch 6.55’s new Endwalker Tribal Alliance quests are on the way, and it’s time to catch up with the tribes of the realm. With that in mind, here’s how to introduce yourself to the Omicron.
Remember, previous FFXIV Tribal quests required you reach the max reputation rank for each tribe. If you want to begin the Allied Tribal questline in Endwalker’s Patch 6.55, you’ll need to unlock the Omicron and max out their reputation rank. The same goes for the Loporrits and the Arkasodara.
The Omicron in a nutshell
In the farthest reaches of space, settled within Ultima Thule, the Omicrons are a race who shed their earthly bodies long ago and now exist as mechanical beings. They are a Tribe — formerly Beast Tribe — for your Disciple of the Land (gathering) classes, so if you have any classes to level, this is an excellent way to prepare for the level cap increase coming with Dawntrail.
Before unlocking the Omicron quests
As with all FFXIV Tribes, there is a checklist of things you must complete before you can even begin unlocking the Omicrons:
- Complete the level 90 main scenario quest titled “Endwalker”
- Level one Discple of the Land class to level 80 or above
- Complete the “Where No Loporrit Has Gone Before” quest with Jammingway (Old Sharlayan X11.0, X13.8)
Once you’ve completed these requirements, you can unlock the Omicrons Tribal Quest as one of three Disciple of the Land classes.
The Café at the End of the Universe
Head to Ultima Thule and find Jammingway (X25.4 Y26.3). Here, you’ll be introduced to N-7000 and learn about The Last Dregs, the café you’re trying to restore through quests with the Omicron Beast Tribe. After the cutscene, head to Base Omicron and find N-7000. Talk to him in order to unlock a portal to A-4 research. Interact with the portal and then head for the Portal to the New Star (X27.5 Y24.3).
After a cutscene, when you learn more about the New Star, interact with the A-4 Transport Unit (X6.8 Y7.8) to be taken back to A-4 Research. Upon arriving find Jammingway at The Last Dregs by speaking with the Last Dregs Host Unit (X27.5 Y24.7).
Depending on which Disciple of the Land you’ve chosen to undertake this quest with, you’ll have a unique material to go and find. Both Miner and Botanist must find three of their items, whereas Fisher only needs to find one.

Once you have gathered your required item(s), head back to The Last Dregs and deliver them to N-7000.
After another cutscene, speak to N-7000 three more times in the following locations:
- A-4 Research (X27.5 X24.5)
- Elysian (formerly known as the New Star) (X6.8 Y7.6)
- A-4 Research again
You now have access to the Omicron Beast Tribe quests, which can be picked up by talking to Stigma-4 (X27.7 Y24.5) in A-4 Research.
