Many Ancestor Skill Tarsyu Plants are easy enough to locate and use in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. However, that’s not always going to be the case. To find the Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill in Avatar: FoP takes a bit more effort.
You won’t get access to the Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill until you reach the Upper Plains and can call your Ikran there. The Tarsyu Plant you need to track down is north of the plains in the ‘Mother of Rivers’ area. Look for the massive, stone monolith called the ‘First Zakru’. The plant itself can be viewed as an icon on the map, but locating it on the Zakru monolith isn’t as cut and dried as other skills. You need to do a bit of exploring, followed by some spelunking.

You need to find a cave that leads to the Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill in Avatar: FoP. Simply hopping on the stone structure and traveling to the icon on the map won’t do. Don’t try and jump into those pits, either. And especially don’t jump into said pit from high up like I did. You’ll just die. Anyway, you need to approach the First Zakru on top of your Ikran from the east. Land just past the stone bridge and head west until you see the cave breaching the stone. Be sure to watch out for the blue ‘fireflies’, which often gather near the Tarsyu locations.
Head into the cave and walk until you reach a pool of water. Dive in and swim through the underwater channel until you emerge in the next chamber over. The way to the Tarsyu Plant is blocked, so head right once you run into the next pool of water. Hop along the ledges until you make it around the chamber.
Once that’s done, squeeze through the gap between the wall and the floor. Keep moving forward until you reach another pool of water. There’s a second gap to enter, so head in and make your way to the Tarsyu Sapling. Grab it for a quick skill point and turn around. Go back the way you came, but hug the wall to the right. Hop over some more stone platforms and you’ll finally make it to the Tarsyu Plant.
And that’s how you get the Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill in Avatar: FoP! There are more skills to claim in the game, and you can bet there will be at least one more Tarsyu Plant that’s a pain to find. But we’ll be sure to guide you through that one as well.
What does the Ghost Strike Ancestor Skill give you?
The skill is very important to those who like sneaking up on RDA facilities before taking them down. With it unlocked, you’re able to perform an additional 30% more damage while in stealth. There are armors and food recipes that’ll amplify stealth damage, so you can certainly create your own Na’vi variant of a Skyrim stealth archer build. It’s how we all end up, anyway.
