Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is large game, and eventually you will run across mysterious and alluring Tarsyu Saplings. Normally, you may not want to jam your finger in a giant, alien flower. But you should know what Tarsyu Saplings are in Avatar: FoP and what they offer.
Long story short, you should absolutely seek out Tarsyu Saplings. They are among the many, many collectible upgrades that dot the Pandoran landscape. In fact, they are probably the most important to locate in a game that so heavily favors level scaling.
Tarsyu Saplings help you grow even stronger
Touching a Tarsyu Sapling will give you one Skill Point to use in Avatar: FoP. There are dozens of the pinkish-purple buds in the world, so I highly suggest finding as many as possible. Indeed they are very useful in the game, so they’re not always easy to track down.
You can find Tarsyu Saplings by checking out the pink dots on the Avatar: FoP map. These dots indicate something you can discover, whether that’s a Na’vi camp, a Bellsprig, or any other point of interest. Of course, this means that not every dot is a sapling. You need to travel to the spot and get in close to check it out.
The best way to find a hidden item like Tarsyu Saplings is to use your Na’vi focus ability. When you’re near a spot, look around for the hazy white circle that directs your attention to a point of interest nearby. Getting closer lets you see the sapling through objects. Once you find a sapling, all you need to do is approach it and hold the activation button or key down.
That’s pretty much all you need to know. There are at least 30 Taryu Saplings to discover in the game, and you’ll want as many as possible.
How to find Tarsyu Saplings faster in Avatar: FoP
There is a way to find the saplings even quicker than what I suggested. Once you reach the third area of the game, the Clouded Forest, and get your Ikram mount, fly toward the tallest mountain in the area. It’s called the ‘Crying Giant’, and it’s for a good reason: The massive mountain looks like a stone behemoth, and has several waterfalls originating from a lake on top. Near the lake is an Ancestor Skill called Tarsyu Network.
Unlocking the Tarsyu Network Ancestor Skill in Avatar: FoP will let you find the saplings even faster. Be sure to get it if you need help in your sapling hunt.
