Where to get the Skavid Map

When you are on the Watchertower quest in Gu’Tanoth, you will learn about Yanille and the ogres. The quest involves restoring the city’s watchtower in preparation for an upcoming ogre raid. When you are on this quest, you can obtain the Skavid Map by visiting the ogre city guards at the end of the path that leads to Gu’Tanoth. You will need to have a Rock Cake to bribe the ogre guard as well as 20 Coins to pay a guard to jump over the broken bridge, and finally, a Death Rune to give to the city guard in exchange for the map.

Once you complete the Watchtower quest, you can obtain a Skavid Map simply by talking to one of the city guards. The city guards are located next to an ogre named Keef near the Agility shortcut on the eastern hill. 71 Agility is required to use the Agility shortcut, however.

How to use the Skavid Map

Once you have the Skavid Map, you simply need to have it in your inventory to use it. You do not need to read the map or interact with it to actually enter the Skavid Caves. As long as the Skavid Map is in your inventory, you will successfully enter the Skavid Caves when interacting with the entrance.

You will need the Skavid Map to successfully explore the Skavid Caves and collect cave nightshade for the medium achievement in the Ardougne Diary. One of the nightshades can be found near the northernmost entrance to the Skavid Caves.

Now that you know how to get the Skavid Map in OSRS you can successfully explore the Skavid Caves without issue.
