In Coral Island, there is an — admittedly easy to overlook — stamina system. You start with 450 stamina points that decrease with every action taken, but that number increases as you level up. It’s a hard limit to ensure you aren’t too productive on any given day.
The rate of decrease seems to be 3 stamina points per action, meaning you can take 150 total actions at Coral Island‘s outset before you hit a big ol’ goose egg. But, it should be asked how you can recover stamina in Coral Island, because what if you’d like to catch up on your farming for the day, or if there’s an errand that’s about to expire and you don’t have enough stamina? Let’s go over how to restore stamina in Coral Island.
How to restore stamina in Coral Island?
The most reliable means of restoring stamina in Coral Island is by sleeping. If you go to sleep, the day will turn over, but your stamina will completely replenish.
But, what if you’d like to restore stamina in a way that won’t force the progression of time? If that’s the case, there are items — namely edible items — that will partially replenish your stamina. For example, the Candied Tree Seed, despite its name, isn’t a seed at all. In fact, eating one will award you with 60 points of stamina repletion. Bread and Sugar (which can be bought from Sam’s General Store for 50-75 corals each) can be eaten to restore between 25 and 60 points of stamina repletion. There are most certainly more items like that that can restore stamina, these are but an example.
In addition to consuming raw materials to restore stamina, you can also learn to cook food that will do the same thing. You can also give cooked food away to your friends as gifts, so there’s never not a good time to stock up on recipes and ingredients. It’s worth noting that you won’t be able to cook until you upgrade your house sufficiently, so be sure to prioritize home renovations! Also, upon unlocking the bath house / hot springs, you can use it to get a small per-second restoration of stamina. The number varies based on how many offerings you’ve made at Lake Temple, to the far east.
So, if you foresee a really action-packed day coming up in Coral Island, be sure to stock up on materials or cooked food so you can avoid having to go to sleep and turn the day over. Or, if you’re lacking in corals, you can always just hang out at the hot springs!
