How to Complete “Grow Me Something” Quest in Coral Island

Wakuu wants a Peony.

In Coral Island, there are smaller sub-quests that you can take on by visiting the board outside of Sam’s General Store. These sub-quests, also called Errands, usually involve a character needing a specific plant, flower, or vegetable/produce, and you only have a limited amount of time to complete each.

The “Grow Me Something” errand — which is probably one of the first ones you’ll take on — has a character named Wakuu asking you to plant and harvest a Peony. So, let’s go over how to complete this errand, from where to find the seeds, where to find Wakuu, and everything in-between!

As stated, to accept this errand you’ll need to find it at the errand board outside of Sam’s General Store. It doesn’t seem to be an automatic mission, so you can miss it if you don’t accept it before it expires. As soon as you’ve accepted the errand, it might help to become acquainted with Wakuu — if you haven’t already — so you can know where he’s at when it’s time to turn the errand in.

It’s hard to predict where any island resident is before you’ve met them, but if it helps, I’ve encountered Wakuu at both the Raja Coffee Corner and the Observatory, which is where he lives and works. According to his in-game profile, he spends weekends at the lighthouse, so if you can’t find him at either of the aforementioned locations, check there.

Finding Peony seeds isn’t a lofty task, as they can be purchased directly from Sam’s General Store. Sam’s opens at 9:00 and closes at 17:00, so be aware of that when shopping for seeds. Sam sells Peony seeds for 20 units of Coral Island’s currency, and it would seem they’re seasonal to Spring. If you plant the Peony immediately and water it daily, it’ll be ready to harvest in 4 in-game days. As soon as the Peony is ready for harvest, take it to Wakuu to complete the “Grow Me Something” Quest.
