Like a Dragon Gaiden features many restaurants for protagonist Kazuma Kiryu to indulge himself in. Among these is okonomiyaki, a popular street food originating in Osaka, which is also the game’s primary setting.

Where to find Okonomiyaki

The vendor selling okonomiyaki in Like a Dragon Gaiden is a little tucked away from paths players typically cross. It’s located on the south end of the Sotenbori Footpath, nestled between its center and east side. This places it closer to Iwao Bridge than Bishamon Bridge on the other end.

Regardless of whichever bridge players use to enter the footpath, they need to keep an eye out for Hiratai. Its name and label as a store make what it sells ambiguous, but it’s Sotenbori’s okonomiyaki seller.

Upon reaching Hiratai, players can choose between traditional okonomiyaki for 800 yen. The mochi and mentai variants cost 900 yen, so it’s not expensive. It’s also purchasable in bulk, potentially giving Kiryu several dozen to munch on during battle.

One is also needed for fulfilling the Like a Dragon Gaiden Stroll n’ Patrol mission “When Will I Taste Okonomiyaki?” which tasks players with delivering the meal to a man craving it. With a reward of 250 Akame Network points and 5,000 yen, accomplishing this task will at least make up a little for the bulk purchase.
