Acquiring various materials during Warframe’s Duviri Paradox can be tough. You gather resources from slashing trees, killing enemies, and somehow inexplicably acquire more. However, some things have dedicated drop pools. If you’re looking to farm the Maw Fang and the Ariette Scale resources in Warframe, here’s what you need to know.
How to farm Maw Fang and Ariette Scale in Warframe
You’ll find Maw Fang by farming the Maw Feeding objective while out in Duviri. This is the area’s version of fishing, but you won’t need a special piece of equipment such as a fishing spear. Find a body of water and look around for the circular platform at the edge. If you see the “Feed the Ravenous Maw” message, you’re in the right spot.
Just play the mini-game and try to fully complete the bar. This maximizes the rewards you receive at the end. You should yield anywhere between one to four Maw Fangs.
How to farm Ariette Scale in Warframe
To obtain Ariette Scales, you’re in luck. They are found in the same area as Maw Fangs. Complete the same Ravenous Maw objective and you should yield some upon completion. A successful run of this mini-game should yield you about 30 to 40 scales.
What’s neat about farming these items is that you can repeat the mini-game in the same location. You’re not going to gain additional Drifter Intrinsics or Decrees for completing this for every subsequent attempt, but you can still gain the resources from it. You also do not need to worry about the mood cycle or any other sort of external force that affects the world.
To prevent farming more than you need, just go for farming:
- 95 Maw Fangs
- 1,060 Ariette Scales
This should take you anywhere between 34 to 40 runs of fishing to obtain all of these. However, if you are not looking to use these resources to perform the Incarnon Genesis transformation for your weapons, you’ll be able to acquire everything you need a lot sooner.
What makes farming these items even better is that you can just start up a quick instance of the Duviri Experience, find a body of water, farm it, and leave. You do not have to complete an entire run of this mode. You can quit to go back to your Orbiter or Dormizone at any time while retaining the materials you farmed.
