How to complete the Mythical Dream quest in Coral Island

As you complete the Sam’s Local Produce quest on Spring 6 of Year 1 and go to bed, you’ll see a strange dream. In the dream, a shimmering light surrounded by petals appears and urges you to seek out the sacred trees. You will then see the images of four distinct trees scattered across the island. When you get up, you might be wondering what the dream means and what you need to do to complete the Mythical Dream quest in Coral Island. Here’s what you need to do:

How to complete the Mythical Dream quest in Coral Island

To complete the Mythical Dream quest in Coral Island, you must interact with one of four sacred tree tablets located in distinct places:

• Location #1: Near the Sam’s General Store

• Location #2: South of your farm.

• Location #3: On the northwest side of your farm, near the Cavern.

• Location #4: Near the entrance of the Lake Temple.

Interact with the sacred tree tablet at any of the above-mentioned locations and a strange character will appear and start running. Don’t go after this character, as you won’t be able to do that. Instead, head back to your bed to complete this objective. 

When you wake up the next morning, you will find a new email from Chieftain in your mailbox. Chieftain is the same strange character you summoned earlier. He wants to meet you to the left of your house. Follow the cherry blossoms trail that leads left from your home and traverse the fallen tree to discover the hidden clearing. 

When you get there, a cutscene will appear where you will once again come face-to-face with Chieftain. After the cutscene, Chieftain will bestow upon you a powerful ability – Third Eye. With this ability, you will be able to read and understand ancient languages carved on tablets scattered throughout Coral Island.

Now, head to the Lake Temple and meet the Goddess to complete the quest.
