Below, I’ll break down the new FFXIV PVP gear, along with what unlocks with each Series Malmstone level in Patch 6.5, Growing Light.

New FFXIV PVP Gear, Season 5

The new Model Tactical Gear added in FFXIV PVP Season 5 comes in six different styles. Each set has five pieces priced at 1,500 Trophy Crystals each. You’ll need 7,500 Trophy Crystals for a complete set, or 45,000 Trophy Crystals to collect them all.

Note: The PVP gear is NOT locked based on job or role, so buy the sets you want.

Get to grinding, as the FFXIV Season 5 PVP rewards on your series Malmstone board yield more goodies into the highest levels. At most levels, you’ll get the typical 1,000 Trophy Crystal currency, with the 5,000 Trophy Crystal reward at level 30. However, there are a few special items to unlock before the season’s over.

FFXIV Series 5 Malmstone Rewards:

  • Level 5: Ballroom Etiquette Defeatist Attitude
  • Level 10: Palaistra Framer’s Kit
  • Level 15: Tourmaline Weapon (Minion)
  • Level 20: Cloud Nine Framer’s Kit
  • Level 25: Fierce Tyrant’s Attire Coffer

Remember, the item rewards from the Season 5 Malmstone list above are only available for this season. You can still claim them in Season 6 and beyond if you unlock them and forget, but you’ll no longer be able to work towards these goals.
