Cyberpunk 2077 has no shortage of amazing voice actors. Sure, there’s the always phenomenal Keanu Reeves as rocker revolutionary Johnny Silverhand. Cherami Leigh completely blew me away with her performance as V, which might be my all-time favorite voice-acted role. However, it was Lizzy Wizzy, who danced all over the line between sanity and delirium who lived rent-free in my head for several days. So, who played her?
Who is Lizzy Wizzy’s voice actor in Cyberpunk 2077?
Lizzy Wizzy’s Cyberpunk 2077 performance is done by Grimes. If you’re an old fart like me, you might need a little more context on who she is. Grimes, otherwise known as Claire Elise Boucher, is a Canadian musician with a robust catalog of albums and collaborations with others in the field.
In terms of acting, many of her credits are for various music videos aside from the 2012 short, Tabula Rasa, where she played Saint-Boniface. For someone without a background in voice acting, I believe she did a fairly impressive job as Lizzy Wizzy. Apparently, CD Projekt Red thought so as well, with Grimes reprising the role in the Phantom Liberty expansion.
Lizzy Wizzy was born Elisabeth Wissenfurth and is one of Night City’s megastars. From music to film to performance art, Lizzy has a hand in it all. Like Adam Smasher, Lizzy is one of the few individuals to have undergone a full-body replacement. However, this appears to have had a profound effect on her mental health.
During V’s many adventures in Night City, they can take on a job from Lizzy Wizzy, Violence. It is available in Act 2 and shows players just how unsettling the world of Night City is. Still, it’s a fantastic performance and one I advise everyone to experience.
