About a week after its release, Remnant 2 has just received its first hotfix. Officially titled Remnant 2 update 1.0.0.9, the patch notes focus primarily on a handful of improvements for Xbox players.

Overall, this makes sense because the previous update that was released right before the Early Access launch of Remnant 2 focused on PC and PS5 improvements.

For the most part, this patch actually echoes the update on previous platforms. The big change is the toned-down frequency of player voice-over comments throughout Remnant 2. Furthermore, an option has been added to toggle motion blur on or off in the menu settings.

Finally, a handful of bug fixes were added. Most of these removed previous progression blockers that could prevent players from continuing their campaign playthrough. With these fixes, those blockers should no longer occur.

Once again, despite version 1.0.0.9 now being the latest version on all platforms, this update only implemented changes on Xbox Series X|S. Now that all platforms have the same updates, I’d imagine we’ll see future updates targeting all platforms.
