How to get the Navigator’s Helm in Remnant 2

N’Erud is one of the more intriguing worlds in Remnant 2. Not only does it pack fascinating lore and desolate-yet-sci-fi visuals, it also hides some unique loot. Among these loot pieces on N’Erud is the Navigator’s Helm. While the helm can be equipped in your helmet slot, its more important purpose is granting access to the Navigator’s Room. In this room, you will find the extremely powerful Plasma Cutter weapon.

Chances are you’re going to want the Plasma Cutter. Therefore, here’s how to get the Navigator’s Helm in Remnant 2.

Extraction Hub – Where to find the Navigator’s Helm

First, you’ll want to head to N’Erud. This is one of the more interesting worlds as it has two possible maps, each with two bigger areas. Thankfully, the region of N’Erud you are trying to find, the Extraction Hub, can spawn on both maps. In both instances, it spawns in the second area. Therefore, you will want to proceed through N’Erud until you unlock the second bigger area on your map, and then begin looking for the Extraction Hub.

The Extraction Hub is actually pretty easy to find. It’s essentially three giant pistons slamming into the ground on repeat. You can see what the Extraction Hub looks like in the above screenshot. Also, the Extraction Hub emits a loud alarm constantly. You can hear the alarm from pretty far away, so once you do start heading in its direction.

As a tip, there is a Red Checkpoint Crystal somewhere in the middle of the Extraction Hub. Make sure you grab this checkpoint just in case you die trying to obtain the Navigator’s Helm. That way, you will respawn here if so.

Next, you want to look under each of the three giant pistons slamming the ground. Under one of these pistons is a visible hole. You want to crouch and time it so once the piston lifts in the air you can quickly climb under it and drop down into the hole.

How to get the Navigator’s Helm

Once you drop down in the hole you will see the Blasting Cap Ring on the ground as well as a few zombie-like enemies scattered throughout. Once you attack one the rest should swarm to you. They are easy to take out, but make sure you don’t get overwhelmed.

In the midst of your battle, you will encounter a zombie called the Navigator Zombie. For reference, it’s the enemy pictured in the above screenshot. He has a little more health than the regular zombies but is still a piece of cake. Once he is defeated you will automatically receive the Navigator’s Helm.

Now that you know how to get the Navigator’s Helm in Remnant 2, you will probably want to continue towards the Navigator’s Room to obtain the Plasma Cutter weapon.
