Time to explore the open world
Diablo 4 has 115 Aspects you can collect in its Codex of Power, and some of them can prove essential to certain builds. The Wind Striker Aspect is one such example, giving a nice movement speed buff whenever you land a critical hit. It can be used by all classes, so it’s a versatile perk that anyone will be glad to have in their back pocket.
Fortunately, finding the Wind Striker Aspect isn’t too hard. If you’re still early in the campaign, you may need to traverse quite a bit of the open world until you find it. But if you’re determined to grab this one, here’s what you need to do.
Wind Striker Aspect location & directions
You can find the Wind Striker Aspect in the Shivta Ruins. This dungeon is located in the Kehjistan region within the Amber Sands area. If you follow the story, you’ll naturally come this this general area of the world around Act 5.
Regardless of your progress, you have one especially easy way to track this one. Open your Codex of Power, look for the Wind Striker Aspect in the “Mobility” tab, and press the prompted button to pin the dungeon location on your map. You can find more details on how to track codex powers here.
Shivta Ruins dungeon guide in Diablo 4
Once you enter this dungeon, you fortunately shouldn’t have much trouble clearing it. You’ll see the listed objective “Return the Bloodstone to the Pedestal,” which should come naturally if you want to explore. The Pedestal in question is at the end of the dungeon, right before the boss room. If you don’t want to waste time, you can find the two Bloodstones you need below.
After you return the two Bloodstones, heal up and enter the boss room. Here you’ll face the Seething Hivemaster
Fortunately, this encounter won’t throw many curveballs at you. The main mechanic here involves the Hivemaster summoning circles of pests that will travel around the arena. These will slow you down and slowly drain your health, so avoid those as much as you can. Otherwise, a small handful of adds will spawn throughout the fight, which you should easily dispatch as you take the boss down. Heal accordingly and you’ll clear this fight without a problem.
Once the Seething Hivemaster goes down, collect your loot and enjoy your newly unlocked Wind Striker Aspect!
