How to defeat Like Like Worms

To kill the Like Like Cave Worms, you’ll want to get some arrows and some patience. The shelled creature will keep its tongue encased. However, if you wait long enough, it will reveal its weak point. Shoot the red and yellow tongue, that’s pulsing like a human’s heart, with your bow and arrow or spear. It will then stagger and fall down. This is your opportunity to strike it with a weapon of your choice: the stronger, the better.

Don’t get too close to the Like Like Worm. If you go against my advice, it will gobble Link up. He’ll take damage, and the worm removes a weapon or shield from the Hero of Time. Don’t worry though. You’ll get it back after you’ve defeated the monster. Keep following the process of shooting its tongue with an arrow and then hitting it with as much might as you can muster.

The rewards

After defeating the Like Like Cave Worms, they’ll drop a Like Like Stone, and a chest, alongside your gobbled-up weapons and armor. The chest can contain a variety of items, including Opals, and even a weapon like the Phrenic Bow, which boosts your attack by five stats.
