The Tunic of the Depths in Tears of the Kingdom is a helpful piece of armor, especially within the underground areas. It will provide resistance to gloom for a few seconds, letting Link cross small pools of the red liquid. The Tunic of the Depths is thankfully easy to find. Here’s specifically where to find the Tunic of the Depths in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tunic of the Depths location

To discover the Tunic of the Depths, you’ll need to go underground in the Depths and chat with a Bargainer Statue. If you don’t have one yet, an easy one can be found near the Stakijat Lightroot. It’s northeast of the Great Abandoned Central Mine and slightly northeast of the Netinet Lightroot. The best way to navigate this area is to auto-build a vehicle.

You can also get to this area by entering the chasm nearby the Forest of Time and Kamizun Shrine south of Hyrule Field. Then, you’ll need to work your way northeast.

Once you get to the Stakijat Lightroot, head northeast again to find the Plains Bargainer Statue. It’s a rock face hidden within the roots of the underground area.

How to get this armor

Once you’ve spoken to the Plains Bargainer Statue, it will sell the Tunic of the Depths to you. However, you don’t spend rupees here. Instead, it takes 150 Poes. They’re ghostly white figures you can pick up all over the Depths. Once you’ve collected 150 Poes, you can acquire and equip the Tunic.

You can also purchase a Magic Rod for 100 Poes, which lets you cast ice, lightning, and fire spells with the right material attached like Topaz or Sapphire.
