How to get the Singular Orbit Triumph in Destiny 2

Ascend the root

Recommended Videos

With the launch of Destiny 2‘s new raid, Root of Nightmares comes a brand-new seal title to achieve in the form of Dream Warrior. To earn this title, there are plentiful Triumphs and challenges that must be completed, one of which is the Singular Orbit Triumph.

In order to complete the Singular Orbit Triumph in Destiny 2, you and your fireteam will need to touch down in the Root of Nightmares raid and fight your way through to the third encounter, Macrocosm. To get the Triumph, make sure that no one gets the Planetary Insight buff twice in Macrocosm during the same Planetary Shift.

To achieve this, play through the encounter as you usually would, making sure that the light planets will be on the light side and the dark planets on the dark side. During the first phase, you can kill the Planetary Lieutenants. After the first planets have been switched, your add clearer should kill the Lieutenants and tell you where to dunk the Light or Dark buffs in the middle. After this, you can damage Zo’Aurc, the Explicator of Planets, and return to your chosen plate.

After this stage, you must not kill the Lieutenants until all four Centurions have been killed. This spawns all the Lieutenants who can then safely be eliminated for the next Planetary Shift. Again, your enemy clearers must kill the Lieutenants after the planets have switched places to avoid having to pick up the Planetary Insight buff twice.

If you keep to this pattern and communicate clearly with your fire team, you will all achieve the Singular Orbit Triumph in Destiny 2 when Zo’aurc is defeated and the encounter is cleared.

Destiny 2: Lightfall is out now for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
