If you haven’t had enough of malaria and the hot, African sun, Ubisoft’s got you covered.
The publisher has announced today that it will be releasing a downloadable content package for Far Cry 2 by the end of November. Called “The Fortune’s Pack,” it will add two new vehicles (the Unimog and the Quad), along with three new weapons (silenced shotgun, sawed-off shotgun, and crossbow). All of the vehicles and weapons will be accessible in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Speaking of multiplayer, the DLC also adds four new maps — “Cheap Labor,” “Last Resort,” “Lake Smear,” and “Fort Fury.”
The pack will be available for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and will cost $9.99 or 800 MS Points, respectively. Do you guys think this new Far Cry 2 content warrants this price tag? Will it add enough gameplay to justify spending your cash?
