You know how most gamers seem to think that EA has gone too far with milking its franchises? Yeah, well something tells me this story isn’t going to be helping to change that reputation.
The senior producer for Mirror’s Edge, Owen O’Brien, has divulged EA Dice’s plan to turn the colorful parkour simulator into a trilogy by saying, “the story we’re telling at the moment is kind of a trilogy, a three-story arc.”
“For these first couple games, it’s all about Faith. It’s all about her experience in the world,” he says. Continuing, Owen talks about one feature that “may” make it into Mirror’s Edge 2: a level editor.
“If we do it, we want to make the editor as easy to use and intuitive as the game is.” I’ll admit, random facts like this are interesting to know about, but talking about features that aren’t set in stone will potentially lead us to being angry when they don’t make the final cut.
